I see other people have covered text arrangement, so let's talk panel arrangement. I'm often unsure in what order to read the panels in your comics; for example, this comic naturally reads as having Celestia land on the step and then take off from the horse's back, which surely can't be right. Panels should proceed chronologically from left to right and then from top to bottom, unless you know how to make the action of the page guide the reader through an unconventional path (which is not a skill I can teach you). In general you want to arrange your panels into rows, with the occasional panel that is split in two with a horizontal line (with the sequence of events being the panel to the left, then the top half, then the bottom half, then the panel to the right) and the occasional large panel that spans multiple rows (which either is at the left edge of the page and comes before all other panels in the rows it spans, or is at the right edge of the page and comes after all other panels in the rows it spans).
